Basic Game Art & Concept
Current State
The game "The Evolid" is currently in its early states. It is already playable, but some core features of the game are still missing. In the last 2 weeks I have created a lot of artwork and code to get the game running. There is already a finished player controller, enemies, a combat system and effects like particles and sounds.
Next Steps
In the following days I'll focus a lot of time on creating sound and visual effects, additional enemies and objects like doors, moving platforms, quest objects (keys, artefacts) and items.
Once that's done, I'll finish the level features like spawning, an opening sequence, enemy randomization and the final fight against the Evolid.
From there on I'll make the main/options/level/etc. menu, create a few cutscenes, polish and build the game.
